NUDESTIX: review & a mini routine
My latest beauty obsession is Nudestix. This brand descends upon us from the lovely nation of Canada. It seems like they get everything right up there; universal health care, guaranteed paid maternity leave, MAPLE SYRUP, Justin Trudeau (drool)...and makeup!
Nudestix is the brainchild of cosmetic developer Jenny Frankel, and her teenage daughters, Ally & Taylor. The whole idea of the brand is #GoNudeButBetter a.k.a. the "no makeup makeup". Every woman should be able to master this technique; using makeup to achieve a look that is natural and enhances your unique features.
Nudestix makes concealer, blush, lip color, contour, brow color, eye color, skincare pencils, and more. All of their products are in crayon form, and come in a sleek black storage tin. The lid on each tin COMES WITH A PRETTY BIG MIRROR Y'ALL. You'll also find a sharpener that can double as a cap for each crayon. At least 4 sticks can fit in one tin, making these perfect for travel or even just throwing them in your handbag. #ionlybuymakeupforthepackaging.
But really, these creamy, moisturizing, vitamin-enriched makeup sticks are incredibly easy to use, highly pigmented, and last all day. My favorite sticks are the concealer, sculpting pencil, lip + cheek color in 'blush', and sheer eye color in 'golden'.
Here is a super speedy version of my makeup routine when I'm using Nudestix. This only takes me about 3 minutes to do!
